Whilst we have seasons, as you know sometimes we get the wrong sort of weather for the time of year or even all the seasons in one day!
The following offers some advice on the typical things to watch out for to help your lawn stay in great shape... Whatever the weather!
- Long periods of heavy rain – look for any waterlogged areas, if localised simple spiking will help, if more widespread then a full lawn aeration would really benefit the lawn helping prevent weed and moss growth
- Long periods of dry weather – do not be tempted to cut the grass too short and follow the advice offered in the guide 'watering your lawn'
- Frost/Snow – try not to walk on the lawn as this can damage the grass, it will recover but will be unsightly for a time
